Hello Parents!
Quick point: this Tuesday (Aug 25) is National Banana Split Day. No real reason to mention it except that "let's make banana splits for dinner" is a very fun sentence to say to a 5-year-old. Three scoops, a banana, whatever toppings are in the pantry - that's it, that's the whole plan.🍌🍨

Why is the Ocean water salty?🌊
Rain water is not salty but the ocean is salty because rain washes tiny amounts of minerals and salt out of rocks on land, and rivers carry this salt into the sea where it stays forever.
Story of the week…
A bedtime story is about a shepherd boy gets bored watching his flock, so he yells "Wolf!" just to watch the villagers come running, twice. They stop believing him. Then a real wolf shows up, he cries for help again, and this time nobody comes.
The lesson's simple but sticks: when we're not honest, people stop trusting us, even when it really counts. A good one to read before bed and ask, "why do you think nobody believed him the third time?"

Answer of the quiz is….

I bet you knew it! But our Jumbo the Elephant also loves the Banana…
✨ Try This Today
Three things to try before "I'm bored" turns into a meltdown:
Hand them a job, not a toy, sorting spoons, "watering" plants with a cup, anything that feels grown-up
Change the room, not the activity - same puzzle, new spot on the floor, suddenly it's interesting again
Narrate what they're doing out loud - kids often keep going just to hear themselves described
That’s it for the week!
I will leave you with your little one. Please share how it goes with Banana Split dessert. I would love to hear all sorts of stories. Next week we’ll meet with Bedtime routine. Until then.. take care and have your coffee on time!
See you next week!
