Turn your home into a sight word hunt. Give your child these three things to find:
📦 The word "the" on a cereal box or package
📖 The word "and" in a favorite book
🚪 The word "is" on a sign or label
Every time they find one, ask: "What does it say?"
Then make it harder: "Can you find it two times?"
That's it. Five minutes of reading + movement + hunting. And you didn't have to invent a Pinterest activity.
Burn some energy 🏃
💃 This week, we're dancing to Waka Waka, the super catchy song that's impossible to sit still to. The moves are easy to copy, the beat is big, and your little one gets to stomp, clap, jump, and spin until the giggles kick in.
Push the coffee table aside, press play, and let them go. Five minutes of dancing = happy kids, tired legs, and a calmer afternoon. 😉
